Anita Benabou Rozenblat: I've always been dedicated in everything i do in my life. It all started way back when i was.....

History Job Background

At the age of 17 I had my first part time job as a shampoo girl at Le Pascha, the salary was incredible and this is when i discovered that i not only loved working but i also enjoyed working with the public. At the age of 19, I became a dental assistant and attending night class for almost 3 years. Being a dental assistant was not the exciting part of my life but cleaning Daryl Hall & John Oats teeth was. For 3 years in a row, Brian Doyle manager of Hall & Oates gave me Carte Blanche with backstage passes and limos rides to the old forum of Montreal which is now the bell center. Working at 1010 Sherbrooke office building which was literally connected to the old 4 Seasons Hotel, I fell into some great luck. There i met a conceirge who exchanged celebrity information with me for free teeth cleaning. How good was that! I had the honor of meeting Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, Jamie Lee Curtis, Margeaux Hemingway and a few other VIP'S. Thomas Schnurmacher (Known as Tommy)had written an article in paper about a very resourceful dental assistant Anita Benabou, who worked for Dr. Joseph Szwimer. My dental job was definetly a fun experience and a very memorable one.
At the age of 22, I worked with the late CoCo Leopold. He was truly a great inspiration in my life. A very talented man with an exceptional reputation for his fashion co-ordinations in some of Montreal's Elite Hotels, i became his right hand man. I learnt the fashion trade quick.
Not long after, i ventured into my own fashion company which i took great pride, with only $5,000 given to me by my parents, this was the beginning of "Mosskito Fashion" My passion for fashion was endless. It didn't take me long to make a name for myself. My collection was a youthful leatherwear and stretch combined fashionwear. The collection hit stores such as Norstroms USA, T.J.Maxx & TK Maxx Europe, Winners Canada and finally my dream The Shopping Channel Canada. Working television was a level i've always wanted to reach, selling my private collection on t.v. was truly remarkable. My greatess joy was to know that many women who purchased my collection believed not only in my designs but couldn't wait for my next collection to be aired the following month.
In 2007, I decided to reinvent my whole life and enter a new level. I became a real estate agent. I'm loving it day to day. I'm in a good place in my life and hope i can share my wisdom and talent with the public. In 2008, I was awarded a Centurion Award by Century 21. On Feb. 16th 2010, I received a DOUBLE Centurion Award. To find out more about me, log onto my blog and read more!
On March 16th 2010. I've ventured into a new and exciting level in my life.
